Shake that essay stress off your back.
With admissions more competitive than ever, having a strong personal statement is essential to getting into the school or program of your dreams.
I want you to be proud of your work and feel confident in your submission. You can expect encouragement, honesty and one-on-one guidance from me along the way.
Over the years, I’ve helped students get accepted to the most selective colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as top medical, graduate, law, vet and business schools. I work with Area Health Education Centers across the country, so I’ve helped hundreds of students get accepted into prestigious health care-related programs, including ones for dentistry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy, physician’s assistant, nursing, nurse practitioner and pharmacy. I also help with supplemental essays, scholarship application essays, and residency application personal statements.
To help you craft your work, I offer three kinds of help:
- Brainstorming
- Critiques
- Proofreading
“I can’t begin to thank you for all the help you gave me along the way and making my application that much stronger. Thank you for helping all of my friends too!”
Brainstorming involves a conversation by phone or Skype in which you tell me about you, and we work to identify a compelling story that can lead your essay. We also nail down what should be showcased about you in subsequent paragraphs. You will then receive an email that includes a detailed essay outline.
Critiques happen on two levels. After you submit your first draft, I send you a critique by email that outlines the strengths and weaknesses of your work. In addition, I provide detailed comments and suggested cuts and edits within your draft. After you make your changes on your first draft, we go back and forth with your subsequent drafts (as many times as is needed) until you have a final product that you are proud of.
Proofreading includes editing for spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
You will receive your edits in a timely fashion, usually within 24 hours.
